Highlighting Nabors’ growing regional presence through strategic alliances, digital transformation, and operational excellence at key industry events in the Eastern Hemisphere.
From Oman to Indonesia and the UAE, Nabors continues to drive conversations on drilling performance, collaboration, and innovation. This year, Nabors marked a significant presence across key Eastern Hemisphere industry events, reinforcing its role as a leader in digitalization, automation, and operational excellence.
Showcasing Success in Oman
The month of May kicked off with a strong presence at the Oman Petroleum & Energy Show (OPES), where Nabors showcased its groundbreaking collaboration with Halliburton and our commitment to operational excellence in the region. Engagement at the booth surged, doubling compared to 2024, driven by interactive touchscreen experiences and immersive virtual reality (XR) glasses that walked audiences through our advanced drilling solutions.
Moreover, the event also provided an opportunity to celebrate Nabors’ legacy in Oman—over 1,600 wells drilled in 25 years, consistently delivering safe, reliable, and efficient operations for a major operator. Across our Oman fleet, Nabors continues to set industry benchmarks, achieving standout drilling records in complex well sections and extended laterals, all underpinned by a zero-hurt year in 2024, advocating for our strong safety culture.

Engaging Conversations in Indonesia
At the Indonesian Petroleum Association (IPA) Conference, Nabors continued to lead the way in digital transformation in drilling. The team spotlighted the power of the RigCLOUD® digital platform and its ability to drive smarter decision-making, real-time data insights, and automation at the rig site.
Attendees experienced firsthand how technologies like the REVit® stick-slip mitigation solution can unlock faster, more efficient, and more precise slide drilling performance.
The conference proved to be a strategic platform to build awareness around Nabors’ technology portfolio and expand connections across the Southeast Asian audience.
Driving Thought Leadership in Abu Dhabi
We wrapped up the month with a compelling presence at the SPE/IADC Middle East Drilling Technology Conference & Exhibition in Abu Dhabi. Nabors brought deep insight and expertise to the table with a strong lineup of speakers and technical presentations.
Subodh Saxena, Senior Vice President, Nabors Drilling Solutions (NDS) and Canrig, participated in a dynamic panel on “Unleashing the Power of Our Workforce,” addressing how human talent continues to be a cornerstone of success in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
On the other hand, building on this momentum, Blakely Farrow, Senior Product Manager of Performance Tools, took the stage twice. First, showcasing our successful automation collaboration with Halliburton in the region—bringing AI and rig automation to the forefront of drilling operations—and later, leading a session on how empowering drillers with intelligent tools is optimizing performance and delivering more consistent, higher-quality wells.
