Isenberg Education Fund Scholarship
The Isenberg Education Fund Scholarship Program’s goal is to provide Nabors employees and their family members with an opportunity to learn, grow and become professionals in their chosen careers. Eugene M. Isenberg, former Chairman & CEO of Nabors, established the Isenberg Education Fund Scholarship Program in 2009 when he began donating all the proceeds of his salary to benefit the educational pursuits of Nabors employees and their immediate family members. The Isenberg Education Fund Scholarship Program seeks to provide this assistance to talented, high-achieving individuals who demonstrate strong academic performance, dedicated community service, and need financial aid.

Eligibility & Selection Criteria
Applicants to the Isenberg Education Fund Scholarship Program must meet the following criteria:
- Be an employee, spouse, dependent biological, legally adopted child, or grandchild of a full-time employee of Nabors or an affiliate. (Affiliates are companies under common control of the ultimate parent company whose interest in each affiliated company is at least eighty percent (80%).
- For scholarship consideration, incoming freshman must have a minimum of 3.5 GPA (unweighted) and a minimum SAT score of 1200 or a minimum of 25 ACT score. If currently enrolled, then a minimum of a 3.5 GPA is required.
- The applicant or immediate family member must be employed by Nabors or an affiliate when award decisions are made.
- Must be currently enrolled at, or have applied to, and met the minimum standards for admission and plan to enroll in undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited two- or four-year postsecondary college or university located in the United States for the upcoming academic year.
Award Details
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award amount determined by the total funds available for the year and the recipient’s calculated financial need. Awards may not exceed the cost of tuition and course-related fees, books, supplies and equipment at the applicable college or university.
- Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
- Awards are for undergraduate and graduate study.
- A recipient is not obligated to pursue any particular course of study and may pursue any course of study of his or her own choosing using the award.
