David J. Tudor
Chief Executive Officer of Associated Electric Cooperative Inc.
David Tudor was elected to the Nabors Board of Directors in 2025 and currently serves as a member of the Audit and Risk Oversight Committees of the Board.
Tudor currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Associated Electric Cooperative Inc., a Springfield, Missouri-based electric cooperative generating electricity for more than two million-member consumers across Missouri, Oklahoma and Iowa. Tudor has held this position since 2016. Prior to this, Tudor was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Champion Energy Services, a retail electric provider. Tudor negotiated and led the sale of Champion to Calpine in 2015.
Tudor currently serves on the Board of Directors of Woodway Energy Infrastructure (owned by Macquarie Capital), the National Renewables Cooperative Association and the Cox Health Foundation. Tudor formerly served on the boards of Western Midstream Partners, LP (NYSE: WES) from 2008 to 2020, the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) from 2019 to 2024 and, America’s Power (ACCCE) from 2017 to 2023. Tudor received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee.
Tudor brings significant executive and risk management experience in the electric power industry that will enhance the Board’s strategic oversight by integrating expertise in energy demand and electrification, which are key drivers for natural gas drilling demand and optimizing drilling operations to reduce carbon emissions.
