Good Nabors Day
During this day of worldwide community outreach, employee volunteers from Nabors partnered with community organizations in 10 cities to meet needs in the areas of housing, hunger, science and math education, health, safety, the environment, and the arts.
Nabors Chairman, President and CEO Anthony G. Petrello, commented, “Good Nabors Day demonstrates our commitment to social responsibility and how we can make a bigger impact by working together to accomplish any goal.”
Good Nabors Day projects were held in these communities:
- Houston, Texas, USA
- Calgary, Canada
- Moscow, Russia
- Al-Khobar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
- Neuquén, Argentina
- Dubai, United Arab Emirates
- Lafayette, Louisiana, USA
- Odessa, Texas, USA
- Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA
- Ciudad del Carmen, Mexico
Projects included a desert clean-up with the Dubai Municipality, and a bayou clean-up with the Buffalo Bayou Partnership in Houston, Texas, after the devastation Hurricane Harvey left behind.
Other Good Nabors Day projects included volunteering at Women In Need Society (WINS), a non-profit organization investing in the social well-being of women and their families in Calgary, Canada.
In Neuquén, Argentina, employees volunteered their time and donated food, toys and mattresses to the Hogar Yampai, an orphanage for young children.
