Nabors Charitable Foundation
The Nabors Charitable Foundation (the “Foundation”) was formed in 2005 exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Foundation’s primary purpose is to provide assistance to Nabors’ employees, such as through natural disaster relief and scholarships. The Foundation derives virtually all of its funding from employee and director contributions.
Providing Relief from Natural Disasters
Because of the generous support of Nabors’ employees, the Foundation is well positioned to respond to those in need when natural disaster strikes. The Foundation provided relief to employees affected by Hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Ike. More recently, the Foundation committed to match employee contributions made to the Red Cross following the earthquakes in Haiti.
Isenberg Education Fund
Eugene M. Isenberg, the CEO of Nabors, has volunteered to donate the after-tax proceeds of his salary to benefit the educational pursuits of Nabors’ employees and their immediate family members among others. In connection with that endeavor, the Nabors Charitable Foundation established the Isenberg Education Fund.
The Isenberg Education Fund provides scholarships to employees and their family members pursuing higher education. The Isenberg Education Fund will grant scholarships to well-rounded individuals who succeed both in and out of the classroom and whose qualities exemplify Nabors’ determined commitment to excellence. Our goal is to help provide people an opportunity to learn, grow and become professionals in their chosen careers.
