GLOBAL INFRASTRUCTURE: Nabors International has the ability to engineer and refurbish rigs for specific customer applications at strategically located field facilities, or to redirect rigs from one area to another.
ENGINEERING: Nabors International’s engineering department is noted for creativity in configuring rigs for unique customer applications. This includes providing rig conceptual designs as well as construction, mobilization and operation of rigs for logistically complex, environmentally sensitive drilling projects.
LOGISTICS: Nabors International’s infrastructure simplifies the complex logistical requirements inherent in operating in other countries. We have experience with local laws and regulations, clearing customs and the permitting required to operate in virtually every important oil and gas area worldwide. This allows Nabors to rapidly and routinely move equipment and personnel as customer demand dictates.
GLOBAL WORKFORCE: Nabors International actively recruits and trains a multi-national workforce. Such a workforce is drawn from over 30 countries worldwide and includes a substantial local workforce which not only complies to nationalization quotas, but also reduces labor costs associated with transportation and housing.
TRAINING: Nabors International operates a global training network with training facilities in Oman, Saudi Arabia, China, Colombia, Mexico, Yemen and Algeria. Within this network, Nabors' personnel are trained in accordance with the training matrix that addresses technical competence, safety and leadership.
SAFETY: At Nabors International, safety is an essential part of the workplace. This is reflected in the company’s industry-leading safety record, with a TRIR (Total Recordable Incident Rate) of 1.22 compared to an industry average of 2.15 at the end of the First Quarter, 2007.
