Nabors Drilling USA, LP
Nabors Drilling USA (NDUSA) markets a broad range of land rigs to address the drilling challenges of virtually every oil and gas drilling area in the U.S. Lower 48. As Nabors' largest subsidiary, Nabors Drilling USA operates approximately 306 drilling rigs, many featuring the latest drilling technology to deliver low-cost well solutions for our customers.

RESOURCES: Nabors Drilling USA has the resources and financial strength to handle any drilling project no matter how complex or how large. We can also optimize project delivery by drawing on other Nabors' subsidiaries for equipment repair, logistical support, instrumentation, web-based well-site reporting, and downhole tool knowledge and expertise.
CONSTANT IMPROVEMENT: For the last decade we have been investing heavily in upgrading the capacity of our rigs in order to drill more efficiently and to reduce the time required to move between wells. In many cases, older rigs were upgraded into high-specification, state-of-the-art rigs like Nabors' Rig 784, which Shell named its land rig of the year in 2004. We also continue to innovate, introducing new generation programmable AC electric, or PACE™, rigs which move rapidly and drill efficiently.
EQUIPMENT AUTOMATION: We continue to strive to automate rig operations both for safety and efficiency. An ever-increasing number of Nabors Drilling USA rigs feature iron roughnecks, air-operated slips, mechanized BOP handling systems, automated catwalks and automatic drilling systems.
FLEET INTEGRITY: A key component of our overall rig safety and reliability is the integrity of our fleet. Among the systems we employ for asset assurance are computerized preventive maintenance, rigorous third-party inspections of mast and substructures, recertification of other load-bearing and hoisting components, overhead hazard surveys and scheduled rig safety audits.
PEOPLE: The available pool of skilled and experienced employees is critical to any company. We are committed to retaining and attracting the most qualified people in the industry. A key to employee retention is recognizing and rewarding exemplary employee performance, and our systems and programs are designed to constantly provide feedback to our employees and provide the rewards associated with being part of one of the world's most successful drilling contractors.
MATERIALS MANAGEMENT: We have a sophisticated and efficient materials ordering and expediting system geared to effectively manage the equipment and supply needs of our rigs, and focused on meeting our customers' requirement for uninterrupted rig service. |
